What is Coaching?
Coaching is a cooperative, tailored, and systematic communication process with focus on solutions which promotes actions, teaching and development through awareness, motivation and responsibility.

Individual Coaching
How?
An initial 20 minute consultation free of charge in which we address the area requiring focus and decide how many meetings would be necessary. You can choose whether or not to take your instrument along to sessions. A session is usually between 45 minutes and an hour. It is your decision as to which coaching arrangement suits you best.
If you are new to coaching I recommend that you book a set of 5 sessions. If you have previously taken part in one of my courses feel free to book single sessions.
Where?
I coach the majority of my clients by Zoom. Otherwise we can meet at my workplace at Malmö Live or the Malmö Academy of Music. You are free to choose what suits you.
Group Coaching
Thanks to a grant from Lund University for educational development, I offer group coaching at the Malmö Academy of Music to explore and develop mental training skills among young musicians.
Since 2024, the course has been offered as an independent course at Lund University under the name Sustainable Musicianship.
Groups and ensembles are welcome to book me for group coaching or a course in mental training. Get in touch and we will find a format that suits you.
Lectures
With lectures I want to inspire a higher awareness of how our thoughts affect our lives and our performance. Through coaching questions and relatable examples, participants gain new insights.
The lecture is given in Swedish or English and is aimed at schools, secondary schools, music academies, folk high schools, associations and clubs.
Why Mental Training?
We all face challenges that can affect our well-being and our ability to perform – performance anxiety, physical tension, and the constant pressure to deliver. Mental training provides you with concrete tools to handle these challenges and rediscover the joy in what you do.
What will you learn?
We explore practical techniques, based on proven methods, from sports psychology and coaching. We work with:

- Techniques for sustainable habits and recovery
- Methods to find inner motivation and joy
- Strategies to handle physical tension and build body awareness
- Ways to develop a constructive relationship with perfectionism
The training combines theory with hands-on exercises you can immediately apply in everyday life.

Please contact me for price information.
The “Coaching”service can be classified as a “simpler web-based training service. You can therefor use your helathcare allowance for this. Of course, you should check with your employer first. According to the Swedish Tax Agency´s rules, it is possible.
If the total amount of the coaching is higher than your care allowance, you can use your care allowance for part of the coaching.
